My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Daisy: Your Perfect Family Companion

Looking for a furry friend to brighten your days and fill your heart with joy? Look no further than Daisy, the 9-month-old tricolor Lab mix who's ready to become the newest member of your family. Daisy is more than just a pretty face-she's a sweet, loving companion who's sure to bring endless love and happiness into your home.

Personality:
Daisy is a gentle soul with a heart of gold. Though she may be timid at first, it won't take long for her to warm up to you with her wagging tail and loving eyes. Once she feels safe and secure, Daisy's true personality shines through, revealing a playful and affectionate pup who's always up for a cuddle session or a game of fetch.

Good with Kids (and Everyone Else, Too!):
Daisy is a natural with kids, and her gentle nature makes her the perfect playmate for children of all ages. But don't worry-her love knows no bounds, and she'll shower affection on everyone she meets, whether they're big or small, young or old.

Crate Trained and Ready to Go:
Say goodbye to potty training woes-Daisy is already crate trained and ready to settle into her new home. With her good manners and easygoing demeanor, she'll fit right in from day one, making life a little easier for everyone.

Continued Socialization:
While Daisy is great with people, she could use a little extra help when it comes to socializing with other dogs. With some patience and positive reinforcement, she'll learn to make furry friends in no time. Plus, what better excuse for extra playdates and trips to the dog park?

Health and Wellness:
Daisy is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccines and preventions, so you can rest easy knowing she's happy, healthy, and ready to join your family.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
