Waffles is an adorable, friendly and sweet little lady looking for her forever home! She looks like a boxer/pittie mix, she's a perfect size of around 32lb, and is just an absolute joy to be around.
Waffles loves to be with her people, and will follow you around to see what you're doing, just in case she thinks you need any assistance.
She's especially great with kids and would love a home with children she can snuggle up with. Waffles is very gentle and good natured around kids of all ages.
She's a quiet girl around the home but will alert you to let you know if someone comes through the front gate or knocks on your door.
Waffles is equal parts active and mellow. If you want to take her on a big hike she'd love that, and she'd equally love to nap by your side and watch a movie. She just wants to do whatever you want to do.
Out on walks she isn't in the least but interested in squirrels or cats, she just wants to explore new smells and have fun. She can pull a little on the leash but if you remind her not to, she listens and learns quickly.
Waffles is friendly with other dogs and wants to meet and play when them all. She can get a little over excited when she's playing so she just needs a little training to teach her that not all dogs want to play for HOURS .
Waffles is a truly lovely little dog and we hope to find her a wonderful home as soon as we can!

More about this rescue
Live Love Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organization that rescues homeless animals by providing them the necessary medical care, allowing for physical and emotional rehabilitation, finding them their perfect forever homes, and showering them with love throughout their journey with us.
Some of our rescue highlights from 2016: Bravey the Chihuahua "braved" a house fire with second degree burns on her back and side. Bravey had multiple laser treatments to speed up her healing, months of bandage changes and antibiotics while the burns healed. She is now all better and adopted to her forever home. Raquel the Min Pin was severely neglected and surrendered during our #fosterthe4th event at Long Beach Animal Care Services. After months of getting her well again, she too has found a loving lifetime family! Buster the Terrier Mix was hours away from euthanization. His behavioral issues are fear based and very workable with rehabilitation. Buster is continuing his training programs thanks to the funds made available by our rescue and his committed foster mom. And these are just a few of the furry ones we've had the opportunity of helping heal.
None of what we do would be possible without our network of fabulous Foster Homes. Fosters provide the safe space and daily care for our rescue pets to heal. They are the link between homeless and unhealthy to healthy and adopted for the precious souls we take in. Fostering is truly the most important part of rescue. If you're interested in opening your home to a foster pet that fits with your pack, please email us foster@liveloveanimalrescue.org.
In addition to generous donations from members of the community, Live Love Animal Rescue is also supported by our venture, Live Love Pet Care, where "With every pet care service you order, Live Love helps an animal in need." We are a social enterprise that believes in business for good, in allowing our clients to be our benefactors, and in evolving the seemingly separate pet care and animal rescue industries into one. "Live to Rescue. Love to Care.™"
