My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Ripple is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee!**

Species: Ball Python
Age: Unknown
Sex: Unknown

Ripple is a cute, friendly ball python who is looking for their new family! Ball pythons can make great pets due to their docile nature, but they can also grow to be quite large and live for 20-30 years! Care requirements for ball pythons have changed over the years, so Ripple would love if their new people are either experienced reptile owners or have done a lot of research. Some basic needs for a ball python include a large enough enclosure to have space for a basking spot and an area to cool off in, plenty of enrichment and things to climb, the right humidity, and a UV light, just to name a few! If you're ready to adopt or just have more questions, make an appointment and come meet Ripple today!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
