My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Nala. She is an absolutely stunning girl who would love to find a forever home of her own without any other feline friends. She does well with small, cat friendly dogs as long as they ignore her. She was found in rough condition as a stray and has lived a life of luxury since being found. She loves wet food, being brushed daily, and playing with you at night before bed.

She enjoys being in your company but isn’t a fan of being held although she enjoys being petted and doted on. Nala is a shy girl at first, but when she warms up and trusts, she is a chatty girl who starts purring the moment she sees you.

Due to her quiet nature, I think she would thrive in either a child free home or with older, respectful kids over the age of 12.

More about this rescue

St. Francis Animal Rescue (SFAAR) is a volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned, neglected, stray and surrendered dogs and cats. Until they are adopted, the pets in our program live in loving foster homes as part of the family while we learn about their personalities, behaviors and temperaments. Foster families work with their animals to teach them good manners, care for any medical problems, and address any behavior issues. This information helps our adoption counselors match the perfect pet for you and your family.
