Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Puma Therman and her brother have a very sad story. They were once living happily with their owner, but unfortunately, their owner passed away. More unfortunate than that, instead of the family members finding new homes for the siblings, they threw them outside and boarded up the house. Puma and her brother have religiously stayed in that yard until recently. Here, Puma is having a really hard time coming out of her shell and learning to trust again after all she has been through. We are working with her currently, but she will still likely need a very patient adopter who will allow her to come around in her own time and to build that trust again. Puma Therman WAS a longhaired cat when she entered the shelter, but unfortunately her beautiful floof was actually hiding a large amount of matting underneath so now she is a little bit nakey but with some time, her wonderous floof will return.Puma Therman has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $70 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.
