My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At only 7 weeks old, Katiska was surrendered at a vet office after being kicked and her leg broken by a large goat. Her owner surrendered her to the vet, unable to afford her surgery asked for her to be euthanized. TGPR happened to be on the phone talking about another dog and agreed to take her into rescue. A foster was found and surgery completed to pin and later unpin her leg back together. Four weeks later she is healed and ready for adoption! She is named Katiska or as we call her, Kiki. Katiska means "goat" in Greek but her beautiful Akbash face is lovelier than the meaning of her name!and she is no stubborn goat! She is so smart, very sweet with all humans and animals and will be the best addition to your family! For anyone wanting an Akbash, Kiki is your girl! Kiki is ready to meet her forever home and would be the best puppy to bring into your family!
