My name is Patty!

We adopted Patty about 4 months ago. He is a very very loving and sweet dog. However, he is just not very happy in our home. He gets in fights with our cat every day, and he also is very nervous around our toddler. He just doesn’t like the loud noises and crying that comes with being in a house with young children. He also did have an issue where he tried to nip at my son. We’ve tried to be very vigilant about setting boundaries with the two of them and making sure everyone stays safe but I honestly just think Patty could thrive in a different type of home. I really think he is just a sensitive dog that would do well in a home with older kids and no pets.

If your looking for a small dog that will love you endlessly and cuddle with you Patty is your guy. He loves giving kisses and snuggling with you. He is amazing in his crate. He would love to sleep with you in bed but we taught him “go to bed Patty” and he sleeps in a dog bed next to us all night long and doesn’t make a peep.
