Meet Athena!
The enchanting 14-week-old German Shepherd mix, overflowing with charisma and energy, ready to charm her way into your heart! Wisdom Panel results of Athena’s sister shows she is 69% German Shepherd. Athena is expected to be a medium/large dog as she is almost 20 pounds already!
This spirited pup is a social butterfly who absolutely loves everyone she meets. She can be a little extra excited and jump too much so working on her manners will be important. She gets along famously with other dogs and loves to play with her siblings and foster sister. She recently visited a local elementary school and she was quick to run into a fifth graders arms for love.
While Athena is still mastering the art of potty training, she's eager to learn and impress. Outside has so many wonderful smells and wonders that sometimes she forgets to do her business outside and comes inside to use a potty pad. Athena is learning how to walk on the leash, she is quick to look back to her human to make sure she is doing the right thing. Food is a wonderful motivator for this girl when working on training. She does great in a car and had the opportunity to ride in a truck and found it to be the best adventure! With her playful spirit and gentle demeanor, she's the perfect companion for both outdoor adventures or staying close to home learning new tricks and napping with a favorite human.
