My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This animal is NOT available through Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. This is a courtesy listing only, so you will need to contact the current owner for more information or to adopt.

PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER: text: (916) 804-9581 or email: demellosasha@gmail.com

Meet George the Greek! This lucky pup was rescued from Athens Greece and is ready to find his forever home. This handsome boy is an Anatolian Shepherd, 3yrs old, neutered and up to date on all vaccines.

George is incredibly affectionate, loves belly rubs, ear scratches, and the entire family. If you want a new best friend, look no further! George has been professionally trained and knows his basic commands (sit, stay, off, polite around food).

George loves to run and stretch his legs, a large property setting would be the best fit. He's a working dog and would love to follow his owner around outdoors. Unfortunately, his current owner lives in a small apartment that is not providing George with the best environment for his breed.

While initially timid with unknown dogs, George warms up to new dogs quickly and would love a family with multiple dogs. George does great at doggy-daycare, but dog parks are not recommended.

Serious enquiries only please. We are in no rush to re-home George. It's important that we find his forever family. He's a loving dog with so much to offer!

Additional adoption info

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue works to remove barriers in the adoption process and work collaboratively with our adopters. We ask that all adopters fill out our online adoption survey so we can learn more about you and help to make the perfect match. You can fill out the survey on our website: www.bwar.org/adopt.

Most of our animals are ready to go home with you the same day you meet them.

All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.

Adoption fees are refundable within two weeks from the date of adoption if the animal is returned.

Adopters are required to be at least 18 years of age.

Adoptions end at the Adoption Center’s scheduled closing time – 6pm Tuesday to Saturday.
