My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a small 10 pound male Chiweenie that was found in a park taken to CAPs, but fortunately SOCA took me in. I like to go for long walks and snuggle in close for cuddle time. I sleep through the night in my crate next to my foster siblings. Im working on being in the crate during the day. I’m pretty much house trained, my foster sibs are showing me the ropes. I’ve just had a couple of spritzes in the house. I have a lot of energy but I’m also a lap dog. I will do best in the house with a fence as I am a jumper and I like gentle older kids.  I can be somewhat skittish, but warm up if you are calm and patient with me.

My adoption fee is $250 locally in Houston, TX or $550 our of state (includes travel fee and health certificate). I am up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Fill out an app at: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQ

Additional adoption info

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
