"Meet Marty! This sweet 7-month-old boy has a heart of gold and ears that could communicate with a satellite on Mars. When he arrived as a stray at the Ontario SPCA Orillia Animal Centre, he was very thin and required a lot of TLC. His animal care team quickly worked to restore his health, but it soon became clear that he had some underlying health concerns. Marty has a bit of a hunch in his back and cannot raise his tail due to joint complications. Despite this, he always has an optimistic waggy tail. He also has an enlarged heart and a significant heart murmur. Marty is an adorable, quiet boy looking for a home where he can live out his days surrounded by love and comfort. Does Marty sound like the right fit for your family? Email orillia@ontariospca.ca or call 705-325-1304 to learn more about him.
Note from foster mommy...
Marty is the sweetest puppy you'll ever meet. Marty loves everybody and wants everybody to love him. He is such a kind and gentle soul with love for all other animals. Marty doesn't have a bad bone in his body. He is currently living with a canine sister, and some kitties. He likes to give everyone kisses and snuggle with everyone which is not always appreciated by all of the feline members of the household, Lol. Marty doesn't really have a concept of personal space! He really bonds with his hoomans and when he is in the house with you he will literally follow you from room to room, everywhere you go, he just wants to be with you. When he goes outside, he follows his foster sister everywhere. Marty is full of life, he really enjoys going on walks, playing with toys (especially balls) and playing with other dogs. He is a very happy puppy. Marty loves to snuggle on the couch beside you and his favourite thing is belly rubs. Marty is completely toilet trained and very clean in the house. Marty loves company he doesn't really like to be alone. Marty is fine left alone in the house for a few hours with his foster sister, they sleep on the couch together. Marty is no trouble at all. He's a funny little guy that will keep you entertained and give you endless amounts of love and kisses. He truly deserves a loving and wonderful Home and Family to call his own.
