Meet Zadie- Zadie came to us from a rescue partner in SoCal with her sister Zola! She is a big girl already, so she is looking for an adopter who is ready to work with all of the puppy stuff (mouthing, jumping, chewing) today and then big dog stuff (long walks, active enrichment) tomorrow. She hasn't been here at the shelter long, so we are still filling in the blanks when it comes to her personality, but she is very sweet and treat motivated. Meet the Pet

Meetings are brief, about 15 minutes or so in length. If there are other dogs in the home, a dog-to-dog is required. None for cats.

Take the Pet Home

We're offering a 7-day foster-to-adopt trial for all pets (excluding kittens/puppies)

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

If you decide this pet is yours for life, the adoption will be finalized over the phone.

In response to COVID-19, and the current social distancing rules, all of our animals are now being housed in foster homes and our adoption procedures have changed. Please read the following ADOPTION STEPS on our website for further details!

**Please Note: Most of our adoptions are beginning with a foster-to-adopt period, and because of this, we are temporarily unable to consider applications from households outside the counties of: Santa Cruz, San Benito, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Monterey.

If you rent, please have a copy of your lease or a letter from your landlord that states you can have a pet(s) ready.

If you’re adopting a dog, introduce your future friend to any other dogs in the family (dog adoptions only).
