Meet Prince.

Found as a in stray in Lanthrop, Prince was taken in by a good samaritan and brough to Family Dog Rescue where he is learning that people are a good source of treats. He is also warming up to being handled and once he relaxes loves a good scratch and a nice lap.

This young dog will do great in a home that understands he is a little shy, but with enough love and kindness will shine as the good boy we know he can be.

Please visit our website and complete an adoption application for review. We are open by appointment only and look forward to meeting you.

Meet the Pet

Once your applicaton has been approved you will be invited to select a time to meet your potential pet.

We are looking for responsible, warm-hearted people to give our dogs the wonderful homes they deserve. Our adoption process is thorough but fast. We focus on making the best match between you and the right dog. To adopt, you will need to:

1. Complete the Adoption Application.
2. Meet the dog you want to adopt.
3. Show proof that you can have a dog in your home (lease, mortgage, letter from landlord).
4. Sign our Adoption Agreement and pay an Adoption Fee.

We are open by appointment only.

However we host regular adoption pop-ups at Pet Food Express Sonoma (Saturday's 11am-2pm) and on the first Sunday of the month can be found at Pet Food Express, 1975 Market Street, San Francisco.
