My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kit Kat, a feline resident of our shelter. This adult cat has a personality that is as sweet as the candy bar they`re named after. Kit Kat is a bit shy, a trait that only adds to their endearing charm. They`re not the type to demand attention, but they do love a good, quiet cuddle session. Kit Kat is a gentle soul who prefers a calm environment, making them a perfect companion for someone seeking a peaceful presence in their life. Despite their shyness, Kit Kat has a lot of love to give. Adopting Kit Kat means giving them a chance to come out of their shell and show you just how loving they can be.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
