If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Mia’s original owner went into hospice and passed away. At the same time, Mia contracted parvovirus and nearly passed but pulled through. I found her on an adoption site and fell in love with her and she’s been a great dog. She was born January 2023 and she’s still somewhat a pup but has come a long way. She’s very intelligent and was house potty trained after only one day. She has a lot of energy and loves to be by your side nonstop but also knows when it’s time to relax. She sleeps all through the night and rarely ever barks. She’s friendly with other dogs unless the dog becomes aggressive first but I take her to the dog park unleashed and she has a great time. She’s never bitten anyone. She will chase squirrels and cats for fun but doesn’t attack them. She just likes to play.
Only problem is that I was laid off from my job and the job I now have requires me to travel and I don’t have time for her. I’m gone three weeks out of the month. Please help me give her a loving home.
