Meet Calypso! Calypso is 4 months old and weighs 15 pounds. We are not exactly sure what Calypso is mixed with but his mom looks a lot like a Shih Tzu mix, so probably that and a small wire hair terrier breed. Calypso can be just a bit shy at first in new places and with new people but once he settles in, he loves to play! Calypso will use the doggy door, and does very well in a crate. He loves all the doggy friends he has met and lights up when he gets to run and do puppy things.

If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
