My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Introducing Baxter B, a delightful cream-colored Chihuahua with a personality as radiant as his coat. At 9 years young and weighing just 6.8 lbs, he's a dainty pooch with a heart full of love. Despite facing health challenges like heartworm disease, dental issues, and a left stifle luxation, Baxter remains resilient and affectionate. Baxter will require someone with patience as he seems to have little contact with humans. He's on the lookout for a forever home filled with love and care within the local community. For more details about this adorable little guy, check out www.tireddogrescue.org. Based in Gulfport, MS.

Additional adoption info

Our fees range from 75.00 to 450.00 depending on the age of the dog. They must submit an application and if the application sounds good then a home visit will be set up. We are very strict about what we look for on the home visit. If app and home visit are approved then we bring the dog for a meet and greet. All dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and healthy before adoption. I do ask that the family update us frequently on the dog as we like to keep up with each and every pet we adopt out.

More about this rescue

We LOVE dogs! We wish that we could help more than we do and hopefully someday we will expand and be able to do much more in our community to rescue and train dogs for placement and to educate the community about the importance of spay and neutering their pets and recruit more people to lend a hand.
