If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Acadia is a sweet little pup about 3 months old. She is so smart and has already learned how to sit, lay down, take treats gently, and wait with the release command free. She walks okay on the leash and mostly stays to the left side and we are attempting to learn how to use bells to signal bathroom needs. She gets along great with my other, bigger dog though they have been playing rough so needs quite a bit of redirecting from nipping (she is also just teething). She loves to be close by at all times and has a spot behind her ear that makes her back leg go crazy.
She hasn’t been around kids but is very gentle and cuddly and would probably be a wonderful family pet with kids she can grow up with.
