My name is Murphy!

My name is Murphy! I'm a big, sweet, handsome boy with hints of light brown within my gray stripes. All of my feline friends in this room with me were part of a 40+ cat hoarding case. We are very grateful for the chance to be adopted into loving homes with regular living conditions. A lot of my friends have been adopted since coming into the shelter. I'm patiently awaiting my turn to find my forever family. I'm friendly and outgoing and I approach anyone who enters the room. I want everyone to be my friend. I'm more relaxed and laid-back, but I do like having a few play sessions every now and then. Some of my favorite things are catnip, treats, delicious food, and being pet. I'm a certified lap-cat who will take any opportunity to be close to you and fill the empty space in your lap. I'm a lover boy. I like being snuggled and I don't mind being picked up and held. Because I was in a home with multiple other cats, I wouldn't mind being introduced to your current cat(s) in your home. Or I could even be adopted with one of my old friends if you're looking for two cats to add to your home. Come by the Humane Society to meet me!
