Hello! Meet our sweet cat, Meadow. She's just over 3 years old and is a Domestic Shorthair. She's a big lover, always wants to be cuddling and involved in the party. She's got a very silly personality and keeps us on our toes at all times.
Within a month of getting Meadow (5 months old), we learned she had feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) and we were informed she'd need to be put down. Instead we embarked on using a new treatment to try and save her. This required big, painful, injections in her back every day for 84 days. It was really challenging for all parties, but we got through it and 2 years later, Meadow is alive and well, living a full adult cat life!
At the end of the treatment, Meadow lost control of her ability to poop in her litter. Since then, we've tried many approaches to getting her back on track, but our budget and patience have run out. Were looking for a home that can either have her live outside or can take on the challenge of figuring this problem out.
