Spooky is a 12 year old tub-of-love who is in need of an ACTIVE lifestyle! This professional lap warmer is on a strict weight loss management diet and a vet relationship would be needed to continue with her food and keep an eye on her overall health and well-being. Although staff at the shelter looks forward to "Weigh in Wednesday" every week, we know Spooky will thrive best and get back to her healthy weight in an actual home, we mean it when we say an active lifestyle will be best for her!. Spooky does not have a history with other animals that we are aware of, so if there are any other pets at home they should be cat savvy and able to do slow and positive introductions. Respectful kids could be ok, and maybe even help keep her moving. Though she does need some encouragement to get up and work out, she will happily chase you down a hallway if you're shaking a treat bag. Spooky is a lover of toys, treats, and when you scratch that little spot behind her ear that she hasn't reached in years, and she will even let you cradle her like a baby once she's comfortable with you! If you think Spooky is the cat for you, please stop by, email, or give us a call!
