Can you guess how Kita got her name? We just thought it might be important to show off this gal’s proud lineage. Meet Kita the Akita! This gorgeous puppy was found under a house in a nearby neighborhood. Lucky for her, she was discovered by a dog lover with a huge heart. This special person decided to rescue Kita and foster her so she could avoid taking up space at our local shelter. Kita is just under three months old and is quickly getting the hang of her manners. In her foster home, she progressed rapidly with potty training and even used the doggy door. She also takes quickly to her toys, but she is not a “destroyer.” You shouldn’t have to worry about this sweetie tearing up your house! With that, Kita is very loyal and always happiest around her family. She likes other animals too, and may even appreciate another dog or two in her new residence.
