Hello, I'm Barney! Let's be a happy family! I am a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees/Saint Bernard mix that weighs around 85 Lbs. Sadly, my owner passed away and I had nowhere to go. A family member offered to foster me while looking for a FURever home. I am house broken and walk pretty well on a leash. I am a very sweet boy who gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. Even though I am good with other dogs and know that friends come in all shapes and sizes, meet and greets are recommended prior to adoption if you have another dog in the home. I would be great for a person or family looking for a calm, easy going dog to add to the home. I am neutered, current on my rabies vaccination, boosters to date, heartworm negative and microchipped. I am currently in a foster home and require an approved online adoption application for meet and greets as well as for adoption. We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
