Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yes, two Great Danes! With two great Danish names! These ladies are Hilda and Frida.
Hilda and Frida are a bonded pair, so they need to go home together. Hilda is the bolder and bossier of the pair, but Frida doesn't mind that much because as long as she gets to be with Hilda, it doesn't matter who's in charge. They ABSOLUTELY love one another. Here at the shelter, they sometimes even cuddle up on a bed together though there are two beds in their kennel.
They came to the shelter as two dogs from an owner who was overwhelmed with too many animals. Their former owner loved them (they're sweet and friendly girls), but they had to make the decision to bring Hilda and Frida into the shelter so that they could get the proper care and attention they needed.
Hilda and Frida are a whole lot of dog times two!! They're big ladies who like to have fun, play, run in the yard and get attention and love from anyone and everyone who's available at any given moment! They play really well together and enjoy one another's company, but they don't appear to like any other dogs (they're very reactive toward other dogs here at the shelter) so they want to be your only pets. They're looking for an adult-only home (teens might be okay).
If you're interested in these big bold beauties, give us a call at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions, to schedule an appointment to meet them!
