Hi! My name is Honey and I am a sweet 10 month old girl. I am happy to be in a foster home where it is quiet and calm and I can find my true personality. I was timid at first, but now I know that my foster Mom gives great belly rubs and chin scratches….and I lick her hands and give her kisses in thanks and I’m not scared any more. I am long bodied and low to the ground (think standard dachshund with pitt bull shoulders) and I love to stretch out and run in the yard. I love my foster dog friends and when I’m running towards them I know enough to stop short of bowling them over and give them kisses instead. I enjoy hanging in my crate, chewing on a chew toy and sleep through the night in it. I also have not had one single accident in my crate or the house so I think you can call me potty trained! I am not very used to being in the house (which is why I like my crate as it gives me a safe space), but I am happy wherever my person is so won’t you please give me a chance? I am willing to learn, and give you all the love while you teach me.
