What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Wally was born October of 2018. Ive had him since he was 8 weeks old.
Hes very smart and obedient. Voice command trained. Prefers off leash. He loves to run and fetch. Tons of energy. Very loyal. Affectionate and is always giving happy licks to the people he loves. And, of course, hes very handsome. He gets a lot of attention when we go out haha
Wally has always lived with other dogs. Hes dominant and slightly selfish. Hes a herder through and through. He does have a strong instinct to nip heels. Ive worked in that since he was a pup but his breed is strong.
Ive battled with myself on keeping him for almost a year now. What it comes down to is I cant give him the attention he deserves with my schedule. I work at a hospital full time, many long hour days. I have a child who takes the rest of my time.
Ideally his new owner would have the free time to spend taking him on hikes or to the park or simply fetch in the backyard
