May is about 3 years and 2 months old. I adopted her as a 3-month-old kitten from the City of Chicago animal shelter. I was told she was left and found in a hoarder's apartment, as an explanation for her being very cautious around people. She's skittish, in a nutshell. She's not a lap cat or a cat who likes to be handled. Yet she's very sweet and prefers to initiate being petting. She's loved dry and wet food and is treat-motivated.
