My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Osiris, an adult dog whose energy and playfulness will light up your life. This lively pup is not only energetic but also highly intelligent, often impressing shelter staff with his quick learning and problem-solving skills. He loves to play fetch, solve puzzle toys, and is always up for a fun training session. Osiris is also a social butterfly among his canine peers, often initiating play and making friends easily. His love for other dogs makes him a great candidate for homes with existing pets. Adopting Osiris means gaining a loyal friend who will bring joy, fun, and lots of love into your life. His infectious energy and intelligence make him a great companion for active individuals or families who can provide plenty of playtime and mental stimulation. He`s waiting to share his love and playfulness with a forever family. Will that be you?

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
