Daphne is an absolute love! This darling girl was adopted from us as a puppy. She is now back on the journey of finding her furever family. Daphne is a shy girl at first, but will love you forever if you get her peanut butter! She walks well on leash, but can be fearful of sudden moves or loud noises. She loves to play with toys and she will bring them back to you (even toss them to you) during play time. Daphne would thrive in a home with women, but can also go home with a patient male that will give her time and space to trust. As a puppy, Daphne did well with other dogs, but we are unsure of how she will be with other dogs now that she is older. Daphne is potty trained and also knows how to ring a bell to be let outside! to meet her, please come to the shelter with everyone in the home and other dogs.

More about this rescue

Arizona Small Dog Rescue is a non profit registered 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter. We are a group of volunteers who have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused small dogs. We save most of our animals from kill shelters around the valley, but also accept owner surrenders and stray surrenders. Owner surrender fee’s vary depending on space and availability. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, medically examine, microchip, and evaluate and/or socialize all dogs that come into our rescue before placing up for adoption to pre-screened homes. We rescue many dogs every week and always have a wide variety of personalities and breeds available who would be a perfect fit for any family and any home.
