Meet Shenandoah! She's a beautiful girl. Shenandoah likes people and is good with other dogs. She's smart, she knows commands and walks great on leash. Shenandoah will learn fast as she will do just about anything for a snack. Come by and meet a great pup!

Adoption viewing hours are from 8:00an-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 12pm-2pm. You must have a valid drivers license to apply. We do not do home checks. Adoption fees are $35 for dogs/pups, $25 cats/kittens and $150 for horses.

Effective Monday, August 17,2015, LAFAYETTE ANIMAL SHELTER & CARE CENTER will begin accepting VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER credit cards. There will be a 2.5% surcharge/convenience fee added to your total. This fee is not greater than our cost of acceptance.

Our adoption program consists of dogs, cats and horses. All animals available for adoption are fully vetted, UTD on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spay/neutered, dewormed and heartworm tested.
