My name is Monroe! I am a super cool boy and I am so excited I get a second chance. I was left in a pen in my owners yard for three days all by myself after their house burned down. Yes, for real. The local shelter in Oklahoma got a hold of me and because it is so full down there I was on the euthanasia list Fortunately a wonderful contact of ASCZ took me in! I am such a happy boy. I am great with kids, cats and dogs. I will need some housebreaking work when I go to my new home and of course some basics on some manners. But overall, I am full of joy and fun. I love to play with humans and animal friends alike. I am crate trained. I am about 2 years old and 80 lbs. A fenced in yard would be awesome but I am also a good leash walker! Interview

ASCZ will contact you for a phone call within 72 hours after submission of your application.

Additional adoption info

Please email info@asecondchanceforziva.com for an adoption application if interested in adopting or fostering a dog from ASCZ and please email us after you have submitted an application. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.

The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.

A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs.
