My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tipsy is a ~5 year-old, ~60 lb. American Pitbull Terrier. She LOVES people, other dogs, cuddles, and going for walks/runs.

She is the sweetest, most friendly dog I’ve ever encountered (and my family has had over a dozen dogs!), and is the opposite of the aggressive pitbull stereotype.

She has a lot of energy, needs an above-average amount of attention and stimulation, and in many ways has the spirit of a puppy.

She’s very well-behaved: potty-trained, sits, comes when called, very rarely chews things or barks.

She likes being inside and sleeping in bed with you but is also comfortable being mostly outside as long as she gets

Adoption is free of charge and you can test her for up to 2 weeks before deciding whether to keep her.

I am starting a new job in a new city, and I don’t think having a dog is a good fit for my lifestyle anymore.

I adopted her around 3 years ago at the Humane Society of New Braunfels.
