Maple is a young bulldog mix puppy who came to Paws Above Rescue in late February with her sister Aspen. Maple is an independent little puppy. Being full of puppy energy, she can be a little defiant and is more strong-headed than her sister. Maple loves people. Maple is developing a good routine in her foster home. Crate training is going well and Maple has made progress in her house training. She is also working on climbing up and down the stairs. More about this rescue

Paws Above is a small foster based rescue that operates in the Greater Toronto Area. It was founded by Ola Zalewski. Ola has been caring for and training dogs her whole adult life, 20 years! She runs a successful dog daycare business out of King City. She is most passionate however when it comes to homeless dogs. She has been rescuing and rehoming dogs for as long as she has been training them. She specializes in taking in dogs with challenges, we work on their issues and match them up with the perfect family. She saves dogs in Canada and also rescues from abroad. If there is a dog in need and we are able, Paws Above will help out!
