Meet Vanna! This adorable 2-year-old, 62-pound beauty is sweetness incarnate! Vanna came to SPIN in March 2024 after she landed in a crowded shelter when she was picked up as a stray. She is now fully vetted and ready to find her forever family!
Vanna walks well on a leash and loves going on strolls around the neighborhood. With her gentle nature, she’s excellent with kids and other dogs, though she might need a bit of supervision around cats as she can’t resist the urge to play chase!
Vanna enjoys chewing on Nylabones and playing with other dogs in the yard. She loves to get wet and dirty and simply cannot resist playing in the mud! She is not an excessive barker by any means, but she does occasionally get a bit vocal if something gets her attention.
This charming girl is house-trained and crate-trained. She responds well to commands like “sit” and “go to bed.” She is pretty well-mannered, but don’t be surprised if she tries to sneak into your lap - she’s convinced she’s a tiny lap dog trapped in a big dog body!
Vanna came to SPIN so matted that she unfortunately had to be shaved. However, we can tell she feels so much better, and it’s just a matter of time before her fluffy white coat grows back in. For now, she’s the softest pup around!
Vanna is very easy-going and could bring joy to a variety of homes. She currently lives with two small children in her foster home and has been sweet and gentle with them. Kids at tail-level should beware as Vanna’s baseline mood is very happy, resulting in her often wagging her tail really hard!
While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she would also do well as an only dog in a home where people are home most of the day. She could even be a fit for an active senior!
Her foster family jokes that Vanna is ‘aggressively loving,’ as she is on a constant mission to shower people with affection and steal their hearts. Whether she’s nestled by your side or playing with other dogs, she thrives on love and attention.
Could you be the one to give Vanna the forever home she deserves? Become an approved adopter today and make her dreams of love and endless cuddles a reality!
