My name is Opie (GA)!

Opie (GA) is a male Pit Bull Terrier mix estimated to be 8-9 months old at the time of intake in April 2024. Opie is up to date on core vaccines (age appropriate) and is microchipped. He will be neutered prior to joining his forever home unless  there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Opie is good with people and other dogs. Opie came into rescue after being torn apart by other dogs in a deliberate act of violence. Opie is being put back together by our veterinary partner, and we will post some photos when Opie is a bit more photogenic. Despite the horror of the life Opie has lived thus far, he remains a sweetheart. Opie has suffered so much, and he deserves life with a happy, loving family that will replace all of his memories with happy ones.
