Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Starbuck
Breeds: Your guess is as good as ours!
Age: Adult
Sex: Female
Size: Large
All the single puppers! (All the single puppers) All the single puppers! (All the single puppers). Now put your paws up! Sometimes we are baffled by the dogs that end up in rescue. Meet Starbuck! Starbuck is 2-3 years old (what is your best guess at dog breed? She looks like she might have some pittie, but other than that, we've not a clue). She was an unclaimed stray, who was clipped by a car and escaped with only a broken dew claw (completely vet checked). We fully expected her to be reclaimed with how sweet and in good shape she is, but no one ever called or came looking for her. Starbuck is a friendly, medium energy dog, who strolled right into the house and plopped herself down on the dog bed like she owned the place. But she did it in such a way that the other dogs in the house didn't object. She completely ignored the cats. She was introduced to horses and, while surprised, took it in stride. She isn't perfect on the leash, but new areas and smells are hard to pass up. She will improve with practice, we expect. No accidents in the house so far and she is great in the crate! This dog has a quiet confidence that is wonderful to see! She is curious about everything but not alarmed. Whatever her background is, she appears to know all about being a house dog with other animals. So if you like it, then you should put a leash on it!
