This sweet girl, Merida, was saved with 1 hour left before she was euthanized at Fulton County shelter. She was overbred, neglected, underloved, emaciated and left abandoned after she was no longer "useful" for breeding. Fulton County Animal Shelter had her for only 10 days and they misdiagnosed her with diabetes and heartworms, in addition to stating she was dog reactive so that pretty much doomed her and nobody was coming to her rescue so we just had to. We just couldn't let her die there after suffering in such a horrible life. She just needed more time and to be given a decent chance.
Even despite all she endured, she is so sweet, smart and loving. She listens really well and would be such a great companion for the right people. She deserves to be in a loving home with no cats as the only baby where she can be spoiled rotten or with another buddy her size that she can play with. She should have a good life especially after all she's been through.
