Neela is a young girl full of life, and ready to play. She doesn't have bad days, she is a ray of sunshine. Making little piggy sounds and running around the yard are 2 of her favorite things. More about this shelter

Van Wert is a small rural community. The Van Wert County Humane Society has seen hard times in the past but since the Humane Society is under a new board, things have changed for the better and we work hard to care for and adopt the animals at the shelter. We have a small base of volunteers that will come and spend time with the animals at the shelter. We take donations of any sort, and the Humane Society is 501c3.
