My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arnie was found by the local SPCA and we adopted him when he was about 1.5 years old. He loves human connection, attention, and affection and always welcomes pets and belly rubs. He enjoys play growling, tugging, and chasing down toys. He is very responsive to “go to bed” and other basic commands (sit, turn around, down).

He was always leash reactive towards other dogs, particularly when outdoors. Basically when he’s outside he’s on high alert and it is best to avoid close proximity with strangers and other pets, as if he’s agitated he may instinctively snap at anyone close by. Indoors he’s a very sweet and obedient dog.

The ideal new home and owner would be able to give him lots of attention, have a private yard where he can run around, and not have any other dogs or small animals. Because he can pull very strongly the owner also needs to have good physical strength to stay anchored in the event that he lunges at dogs or other triggers (bikes, skateboards, scooters).
