This girl is 26 pounds of energy and love. She had to be captured by the local animal control officer and was prettified. She was lunging and growling and very upset. But something in her eye just pleaded for me to help her. So I picked her up from the shelter and brought her home where George (our cat) helped me show her that humans and other animals are good. George helped her calm down and let her guard down and after about an hour she was giving me lots of kisses. She is hilarious and is definitely a lover. She may need a couple of minutes to feel safe, but once she does, she is glued to you. She is extremely smart, loves to go for rides, walks and hikes or any adventure (we went kayaking) She prefers not to be left alone as she does have some separation anxiety. We will email you once your application is approved. You will be connected with the foster parent to ensure a perfect match.

Sign Adoption Contract
The link to the contract and payment will be texted to you once everyone agrees its a good match

Take the Pet Home
We will then schedule transport.

Funny Farm Rescue Ranch is a non-profit, 501c3, all volunteer agency chartered by the State of TN. We take in pets that are unwanted, abandoned, abused, neglected, homeless or otherwise in need. We are not a shelter and do not have a shelter in any other northern state. Each of our pets is in a home with a volunteer foster parent and only leaves the foster home in TN to go to their "forever" home once they are fully vetted. Our goal is to reduce the pet overpopulation problem through spay/neuter, adoption and education. We have been rescuing pets for over 17 years.
