My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Medio, our pint-sized princess who's traded sunny beaches for the serene charm of farm life. This West Coast wonder is ready to bring her unique blend of coastal chill and newly acquired cowgirl vibes to a loving home. Don't let her size fool you; this little lady is overflowing with love and snuggles. Medio may be small in size, but her ability to steal hearts is off the charts! Looking for a pocket-sized BFF? Then Medio is the girl for you!The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.</p>

More about this rescue

Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.

OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.

We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
