Casey, nicknamed "Mr. Snuggly" is a friendly, loyal and affectionate male dog who is approximately 8 years old. He is a very affectionate boy who loves nothing more than cuddling up with his favorite people. Have couch? Will travel!
Casey is a good-natured little guy with a lovely temperament; he is very well-behaved. He likes other dogs but would prefer one-one-one cuddle time. He is a sweet and gentle boy who loves to go on walks (at least two per day) and spend time with his peeps and friends. Casey is house-trained, knows some basic commands, and is a healthy, fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped pooch. If you're looking for a loving and loyal companion, Mr. Snuggly just might be the perfect dog for you!
Sadly, Casey is having to be rehomed as his human Mom has entered an assisted living facility that does not accept pets. Casey's ideal home would be near the Asheville area with new pet parents who are willing to keep in touch and maybe even visit his first 2-legged Mom.

Almost Home Dog Rescue NC is a small foster-based rescue group in Western Carolina. After volunteering for years in a local county animal shelter, we could not turn away from the dogs that needed our help the most. We have created a home environment with comfy cabins for the pooches in our fun red barn and provide loads of fun, enrichment and training for the pups in our care.
