My name is Stella!

Stella was adopted from the VCAS in January 2024. It is unclear where Stella came from, or her history, but her previous owners Had brought her in bc they had another dog in the home who frequently fought with Stella. One day, the other dog attacked her. During the altercation, owner went to grab Stella in middle of the dog fight, which led Stella to whip around and bite them. Her owners then brought her into the VCAS.

I had adopted Stella after her 8 month stay. She was, and continues to be, timid and skittish of new environments. She is extremely attached to me, I have trained her to follow almost every basic obedience command. She is intelligent, but also very protective. Reason why I am looking To rehome her has to do with a recent attack she did (not towards me) in her falsely believing she was ‘protecting’ me. She is now in professional dog training and progressing amazingly. There is much more to her than just these 2 occurrences. Msg me if interest.
