My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope and her sister, Piper, were pulled from a New Mexico Animal Shelter In an effort to find them good homes. Their mother was a purebred Airedale. Father unknown, but looks like possibly heeler or border collie. They are approximately five months old.
Penelope is a very loving, social and smart girl. She loves to play and enjoys being outdoors. She sleeps well through the night and wants to be at the foot of the bed. She is learning potty training, quite well.
It would be wonderful to adopt both sisters together however, she would be fine separated. She would appreciate a playful companion. She gets along great with my other two dogs, and is mostly curious about my cat.
Full adoption will not be completed until proof of spay.
