My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sol may appear a tad shy at first, but give him some time to adjust, and you`ll witness his true colors shining through. Once he feels comfortable, he transforms into a cuddly ball of affection, eagerly seeking out the love and attention of his humans. But don`t let his initial reserve fool you—Sol is also a spirited playmate with a penchant for excitement! His eyes light up at the sight of wand toys, and he`ll leap and pounce with unbridled enthusiasm, keeping you entertained for hours on end. Watching him chase after his favorite toys is a sight to behold and a surefire way to brighten even the gloomiest of days. In addition to his loving nature and playful spirit, Sol is a low-maintenance companion who simply asks for a warm lap to snuggle on and a few toys to keep him entertained. With his gentle demeanor and adorable antics, Sol is sure to become the heart and soul of your household in no time.

How to Adopt:

Take your time getting to know the animal you wish to adopt. The pet you choose should be your pet for the rest of its life, so spend the time necessary to make the right choice. Our staff is happy to assist you in taking a dog out of the kennels or socializing with a cat in the cat room. We encourage each person in your household to get acquainted with an animal before it becomes a new member of your family. We also suggest you bring your present pets in for an introduction to the new animal to form some ideas about their compatibility. Our shelter is open Tuesday through Friday, 12-5 pm and Saturdays from 10 am-5 pm. In order to complete the adoption process, it is necessary to begin adoptions by 4:30pm.
