My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruger has been a beloved pet to my mother Marsha Stazer for the past 4 years. She rescued him from a shelter in Apple Valley, Ca. Unfortunately Marsha (my mom) had an accident and then a stroke and was hospitalized for two weeks, then went to a skilled nursing facility and has now moved to an assisted living facility. The facility cannot house large dogs. We have tried to find a home for him for the last 6 weeks with no success. It is really important to my mom that he go to a good home, she is very stressed over not being able to keep him and is very worried about his future. He is a very sweet dog, who gets along with some dogs but not all. I think he is a little bit of an alpha male.
