My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This inquisitive guy is full of energy. He has an adventurous spirit and is always racing around investigating new things. He loves anything that squeaks toys, tennis balls, and stuffed animals.  He has a sweet side but cuddles only last so long when there is a whole world out there to explore. Moody has learned the joy of belly rubs and head scratches and will take a time out when you show him some love.

Moody was dumped on a ranch with his three siblings. They have since be rescued and are getting the medical care they need. They will be ready for adoption come the beginning of May. He would do well with an outdoorsy person interested in a fun and active dog. Smart and adventurous would make him the perfect companion for any outdoors adventure seeker. Please note that the adopter will be responsible for finishing out his vaccinations and getting his neuter surgery completed. However, he thinks that if it means you and her can be together sooner, then that is worth it. Submit an inquiry if you have any questions or go ahead and fill out an application for this sweetheart.

More about this rescue

Rescue is our passion. It is in our DNA. We eagerly jump on every opportunity to save an animal. When we cruise past a stray without a collar, we stop the car and get out. We’re not “just keep on driving” people. We’re “run across the highway” people.

We have built our life around animals. Our ranch, located just outside of San Antonio, has a treatment room with attached dog kennel, a cat room, horses, cattle, twin boys, and a grandmother. We have a good sized yard that affords plenty of room for everyone to run around.

We are a veterinarian-run 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization.
