My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable boy loves to socialize. He plays well with all sizes of doggie friends. He is smart and inquisitive and loves doggie puzzles, new experiences, and new people. He is the perfect mix of sweet and cuddly on the couch and fun and adventurous outdoors.

He has a cool multicolored coat and a blue eye!
He is vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.

His favorite treat to eat is bananas. He loves all toys, but squeaky toys are the best! He is very good at learning new tricks and loves to show off what he's learned.

Submit an inquiry if you have any questions, or go ahead and fill out an application for this sweetheart.

Go meet their pets

We are in Lytle, TX, so a meet and greet is probably not possible. However, we like to use videos and pictures to really help potential adopters get a sense of our adoptable animals' personalities. Check you potential forever friends adoptapet page for their video and also take a look at YouTube.com/animalkare to see almost 200 of our happy rescues. Then go to Facebook.com/animalkare to see the happy forever families we have found all over the country.

More about this rescue

Rescue is our passion. It is in our DNA. We eagerly jump on every opportunity to save an animal. When we cruise past a stray without a collar, we stop the car and get out. We’re not “just keep on driving” people. We’re “run across the highway” people.

We have built our life around animals. Our ranch, located just outside of San Antonio, has a treatment room with attached dog kennel, a cat room, horses, cattle, twin boys, and a grandmother. We have a good sized yard that affords plenty of room for everyone to run around.

We are a veterinarian-run 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization.
