Meet Kiss, born on New Year's Day 2024. He's a chihuahua terrier mix. He may be small in size, but his affection knows no bounds. He adores curling up in your lap, soaking in all the love and warmth you have to offer. Whether you're watching TV, reading a book, or simply relaxing, Kiss will be right there by your side, making every moment brighter with his sweet presence. He gets along with dogs of all sizes, with proper introduction, and will sleep through the night in bed with you or in a crate if needed. He's still working on potty training but is almost there. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.

Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We depend on a network of volunteers and fosters for the care of our dogs. The dogs are fostered primarily in Tri-Cities, WA. We often have Meet 7 Greet events at Petsmart and Paws Natural Pet Emporium LLC both in Kennewick.

"Mikey's Chance" is a dog rescue organization organized under Washington State articles of Incorporation as a Non-profit Charity. We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families. We work with individual adopters, private rescuers, and rescue organizations that share our values. All our dogs are up to date on shots, sterilized, and microchipped prior to adoption, and they are all carefully evaluated to ensure the best possible match with adopters.
