My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*This dog is available for Foster-To-Adopt as she has some medical needs*

Meet Sid! This pup is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. She came from a household that had many other dogs, so she definitely thrives being around other pups! Even without another dog in the household, we can guarantee that after some time she will open up with that same spunky personality! She absolutely loves being in your lap and getting all the attention and of course she has to be your cuddle buddy!

If you think we might be a match, please visit https://valleyanimal.org/dog-adoption-application/ to submit Valley Animal Center's online adoption application. Once the animal care staff has reviewed your application, an associate will follow up with you as soon as possible!

At Valley Animal Center, our mission is to unite dogs and cats with loving people.

More about this shelter

Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.

We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.

Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
